Frequently asked

Can I change tier any time?
Yes. Upgrade and downgrade — same dashboard, same vault. Stripe handles the prorated credit or charge on the next invoice.
What is MemVault agent memory?
MemVault gives AI agents persistent long-term memory across sessions. When your agent learns a project convention, fixes a bug, or ingests git commits, it stores that memory with biological decay (Ebbinghaus curve) and recalls relevant context via Peripheral Attention Engineering (PAE).
What counts as a skill?
A registered entry with a name, description, and body. Re-pushing an existing name counts as a version, not a new skill, so your cap is unaffected.
Are slots refunded when I delete?
The freed slot is held for 30 days in case you re-add the same name. After 30 days it becomes available again.
What happens if my card fails?
You stay on Pro for a 7-day grace window. We email a reminder. After 7 days without resolution, the vault downgrades to Free.
Where is my data?
Postgres metadata and vectors on managed Postgres in the EU. Skill bodies in S3-compatible storage with encryption at rest.
Do you offer annual billing?
Not yet. Monthly billing keeps the comparison apples-to-apples; annual billing is on the roadmap for late 2026.
