2) The Service
SkillVault provides three delivery surfaces for a vault of AI agent skills you register: an authenticated vault URL, a JSON REST API, and a CLI wrapper that integrates with local AI harnesses. The vault content is yours; we provide the storage and the delivery layer.
3) Account, password, and vault token
To use SkillVault you create an account with an email and password. The password proves who you are to SkillVault. The vault token is a separate credential that authenticates fetches of your vault content. The vault token is shown to you exactly once at issuance; if you lose it, rotate it from the dashboard. Old URLs with the rotated token stop working immediately.
You are responsible for keeping your password and vault token secure. Do not share your password. Share vault tokens only with agents and services you trust — anyone with the token can read your vault.
4) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Store in your vault content that is illegal, infringing, malicious, or designed to cause harm.
- Use the Service to attack, abuse, or interfere with other customers, the platform, or third parties.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, clone, or resell the Service.
- Use the Service to train AI models on content you do not own or have license to use.
- Bypass rate limits or other technical safeguards.
5) Subscriptions, billing, and refunds
Paid plans (Pro and Power) are billed monthly in EUR through Stripe. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from the dashboard at any time. We offer a 30-day satisfaction refund on first-time subscription payments — email support@skillvault.dev to request one.
On downgrade or cancellation, you keep your current paid tier until the end of the period you've already paid for. When that period ends, the vault moves to the Free tier and the 30-day hard-delete clock described in our Privacy Policy starts. During that 30-day window you can still read your vault and re-subscribe to restore full access.
6) Past-due and grace
If a billing charge fails, we retry the charge according to Stripe's Smart Retries schedule. You remain on the paid tier for a 7-day grace window while we attempt to collect. After 7 days without successful payment, the vault is downgraded to Free and we email you a final notice.
7) Service availability
We target 99.5% monthly availability for the Free, Pro, and Power tiers and 99.9% for Enterprise. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access; the Service is provided "as is." Status is at /health.
8) Data and privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service you agree to that policy.
9) Intellectual property
The Service, the brand, the source code, and the documentation are owned by CARDUME ESBELTO UNIP. LDA or its licensors. Your vault content remains yours — we claim no rights over it beyond what is necessary to operate the Service (storing it, serving it, backing it up).
10) Termination
You can terminate your account at any time from the dashboard. We can terminate or suspend access for material breach of these Terms (for example, acceptable-use violations) with or without notice. Where reasonable, we will warn you first.
11) Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, customers, opportunities, goodwill, or data.
Our aggregate liability under these Terms is capped at the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or EUR 100 if you have not paid us.
12) Changes to these Terms
We will post material changes on this page and bump the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will additionally email all active account holders at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
13) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. The courts of Lisbon have exclusive jurisdiction.
